Call for Tutorials Proposals
The ETFA 2017 Program Committee invites proposals for Tutorials to address cutting edge research and developments in technological sciences in the technical scope of the ETFA 2017 Conference. Tutorials will be held on September 12, 2017.
Proposals are invited for regular (3.5 hours, including a coffee break) and "spotlight" tutorials, organized in a single 90minute slot each. Spotlight tutorials are meant to address emerging areas, techniques, methodologies and perspectives.
They should include a 2page abstract, indicating title, topic and motivation for the tutorial, intended audience, preferred format (standard or spotlight), relevance to the ETFA community, list of previous venues and audience numbers for related tutorials, specific equipment requirements, and a short bio of the presenter(s), including name, affiliation, email address and website. Notice that we might ask you to switch to the other format for organizational reasons.
The ETFA 2017 conference will provide one free conference registration for each full tutorial. Giving a tutorial is an excellent way to gain visibility, to build professional network, and is also seen as an important service to the community.
A minimum of 10 participants need to be registered by the early registration deadline to guarantee that the tutorial goes ahead.
Tutorial presenters are responsible for obtaining copyright clearance from the appropriate bodies if use in their presentations material subject to copyright laws.
All presenters are to cover their travel expenses.
